Between the 10th and 12th centuries, Goslar was part of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation; at one time, it was even known as the "Rome of the North." The city is also renowned as a residence of the Saxon emperors. Its unique medieval cityscape has remained unchanged to this day. Return and overnight stay at a 2-star hotel in the Hanover area.
